Fire Pump Room Installation Checklist (Pump Room → Installation → Turnover)

This practical checklist helps project owners, contractors, and site engineers align faster. It covers what we typically verify and coordinate—from pump room readiness up to installation and turnover preparation.

1) Pre-Installation Alignment

• Confirm approved plans and scope boundaries
• Verify elevations, ceiling coordination, and site access
• Identify valve locations, routing constraints, and penetration points
• Clarify target timeline and inspection milestones

2) Pump Room Readiness

• Clear working area and proper equipment placement zone
• Pipe supports / brackets alignment for neat routing
• Accessible valve sets and maintenance clearance
• Proper labeling and clean arrangement (red identification for fire line)

3) Installation Execution

• Correct hanger spacing and strong supports
• Clean fit-up before welding / joining
• Controlled work sequence per area to reduce rework
• Proper finishing and consistent workmanship

4) Testing Support & Punch List

• Assist in pressure testing preparation (as coordinated)
• Punch list rectification with updated status
• Clean site turn-over readiness (remove debris, tidy work area)

5) Documents & Turnover Support

• As-built notes and final alignment checklist
• Provide photos and site updates when needed
• Coordinate final walk-through for acceptance
